Abu Dhabi will soon welcome some of the brightest minds in education as Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi (NAS Abu Dhabi) hosts the prestigious SEAMEI Teaching & Learning Regional Conference 2025. Bringing together over 200 international educators from Nord Anglia Education schools worldwide, the conference will focus on Leadership in Education, emphasizing resilience, innovation, and inclusion as key pillars shaping the future of teaching and learning.

According to Liam Cullinan, Principal of NAS Abu Dhabi, hosting the conference marks a significant milestone for the school and reinforces its commitment to advancing education locally and globally. “Hosting this conference is an honor for NAS Abu Dhabi and reflects our ambition to lead in education both within the UAE and beyond,” Cullinan said.

A key focus of the conference will be the integration of AI in education, alongside discussions on neurodiversity, inclusive leadership, and metacognitive strategies that empower students to become independent learners. With the UAE emerging as a hub for artificial intelligence and advanced technology, the conference aligns with national efforts, including the reconstitution of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council.

AI is particularly relevant in the UAE, one of the top 10 countries globally for AI-driven companies. This conference will explore how AI can enhance student outcomes while also emphasizing metacognition, helping students develop self-awareness in their learning and problem-solving abilities.
