PASS THE AUX, Dubai’s rapidly growing music community platform, announces its return for its sixth edition on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Lucky Voice Dubai. Grounded in its core ethos, “Where Music Meets Community,” the recurring monthly initiative continues its mission to provide a dedicated, accessible space for connection, discovery, and collaboration across the region’s music industry ecosystem.
Originally established to bridge a crucial gap in the local creative scene, PASS THE AUX offers a recurring environment where independent artists, producers, DJs, engineers, managers, media professionals, and executives can gather under one roof. Across its first five editions, the completely free-to-attend event has welcomed over 590 industry attendees and showcased more than 15 regional talents.
Featured Live Performances
The upcoming volume will feature live showcases from three distinct voices in the regional circuit:
- AKA Keyz: The Sudanese rapper and producer recognized for his intelligent lyricism, grounded presence, and emotionally sharp storytelling. A prominent figure both in his solo work and within the Sudanese collective The C!rcle, he has established a respected reputation through tracks such as “No Options Left.”
- Sandra Sahi: The Belgian-born, Iraqi-rooted singer-songwriter known for seamlessly blending English, French, and Arabic influences across Afrobeats, Amapiano, commercial pop, and Arabic-inspired sounds. Following her debut album Love Languages, her independent release “Weyli” reached listeners across 90 countries.
- Fafa: The Emirati-Honduran artist whose signature sound merges R&B soul with Middle Eastern jazz influences. Characterized by a warm vocal tone, Fafa’s music explores nuanced themes of identity, belonging, and cultural duality.
Structured Industry Networking
Beyond live performances, the platform utilizes a color-coded bracelet system to identify creative roles and streamline networking. Consequently, the evening is structured around several core interactive pillars designed to foster genuine professional relationships:
- Tempo Talks: A fast-paced speed-networking segment where attendees skip traditional business card exchanges. Instead, participants share their creative focus, industry role, and professional goals through structured rounds.
- Community Aux: A dedicated music discovery segment. Registered artists submit unreleased tracks, demos, remixes, or instrumentals to play throughout the venue. Additionally, organizers project each track on-screen with accompanying artwork and a QR code directing peers straight to the artist’s digital platform.
- For The Record: An open-floor think tank and panel discussion. This segment allows attendees to address the current challenges, shifting dynamics, and long-term opportunities within the Middle Eastern music ecosystem.
Furthermore, previous editions have featured a diverse alumni lineup, including the likes of Tac, Jaymie Deville, Prince VA, Jay Abo, Theo Thompson, Talall, Moh Flow, and Sonoshee Cloud.
