Bacha Coffee has opened its first full dine-in concept in Abu Dhabi, adding a new chapter to its century-old story. Located at The Galleria Al Maryah Island, the space brings together coffee craftsmanship, heritage, and a carefully curated dining experience, all within a setting designed to reflect the brand’s Moroccan origins.
The new Bacha Coffee Room offers an intimate indoor alfresco atmosphere that seats 28 guests. The 60-square-metre space features 14 tables surrounded by geometric trellises, black-and-white floors, and warm saffron tones that nod to the design language of the original Dar el Bacha in Marrakech. The result is an environment that feels both elegant and quietly immersive — a place to slow down and enjoy coffee as an art form.
Visitors can explore over 200 varieties of specialty 100% Arabica coffees sourced from 35 countries. Each cup is served with care by Bacha Coffee Masters, poured from gold coffee pots into fine bone china, and paired with pastries and viennoiseries that complement the blends. The experience connects seamlessly with the existing boutique and takeaway counter, making The Galleria home to Bacha Coffee’s complete offering in one destination.
In parallel with the new opening, Bacha Coffee has launched the first film in its Journeys to the Source series, titled Ethiopia: The Cradle of Coffee. The short film highlights the origins and traditions behind its beans, paying tribute to the farmers and producers who uphold the craft of coffee-making.
The dine-in menu reflects the same attention to detail. Guests can start their morning with poached eggs on crispy rosti topped with beef bacon and a coffee-infused hollandaise, or opt for a French toast sandwich layered with coffee-marinated short ribs, melted Gruyère, and caramelised onions. Each dish is designed to blend familiar comfort with subtle coffee notes.
At the adjoining Coffee Boutique, visitors can browse an extensive collection of beans and blends, including single-origin and flavoured coffees, as well as rare harvests like Blue Mountain Wallenford and Grand Moka Matari. The takeaway counter also continues to serve its signature hot and iced coffees with Chantilly cream and raw sugar sticks, along with a selection of sweet and savoury pastries.
With its new location at The Galleria, Bacha Coffee brings its legacy of craftsmanship and culture to Abu Dhabi, offering a quiet, refined space to appreciate coffee beyond the cup.
